Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 slices bacon chopped
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
Cream Sauce
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Slotted Spoon
  • Mixing Spoon

Method

  1. In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
  2. Add butter to the skillet, then sauté Brussels sprouts cut-side down for 5–7 minutes until golden and slightly tender.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the sprouts.
  5. Stir in the crispy bacon and cook for another minute to combine.
  6. Serve warm, optionally topped with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or top with shredded mozzarella before serving. Perfect as a side to steak, chicken, or fish.
