- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the shredded cabbage and carrots. Stir fry for 5–7 minutes, until the vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp.
- Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil, tossing everything together until well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra heat, add a dash of chili flakes or sriracha. This dish also works great with ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
