  • 4 leaves romaine or butter lettuce washed and dried
  • 4 oz sliced turkey breast deli-style or cooked
  • 1/2 avocado sliced or mashed
  • 1/4 cup sliced tomato optional
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt) with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  2. Lay out the lettuce leaves and spread a small amount of the sauce on each.
  3. Layer turkey slices, avocado, and tomato over the sauce.
  4. Roll or fold each lettuce wrap tightly and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Serve immediately or chill for a refreshing grab-and-go meal.

Notes

For extra crunch, add sliced cucumber or shredded carrots. If you prefer heat, sprinkle with a little hot sauce or crushed red pepper before rolling.
